'One Tree Planted’ are a non—profit organization focused on global reforestation. By planting more trees we can help offset carbon and reduce the effects of climate change.

Why Trees?

Trees are essential for clean air, water and biodiversity. Forests provide jobs to over 1.6 billion people. absorb harmful carbon from the atmosphere, clean the air we breathe, filter our water, provide habitat to over 80% of the worlds terrestrial biodiversity and are even key ingredients in 25% of all existing medicines.

Why Protect Children?

Unicef are advocates for the protection of children’s rights insisting that the survival, protection and development of children are universal development imperatives that are integral to human progress. Some of the problems children are facing today are poverty, malnutrition, limited or no access to education, HIV/AIDS, abuse, equality and the list goes on.
Globally at least half of all children under 5 suffer from hunger. One in three children are not growing well because of malnutrition. This is unacceptable.

Why Protect Our Oceans?

Our ocean and its inhabitants are dying from overfishing, ocean pollution and habitat destruction.
Fishing is the greatest threat to marine life and has already wiped out 90% of the worlds large fish. 24,000 fisheries workers die on the job per year with forced labor reported in 47 countries. $35 billion in subsidies is given to the fishing industry every year.
